Jennifer H.

My name is Jen and I am 34 years old. I am married and have 4 children, 1 granddaughter, and a full-time job. I am like most moms and wives that have no time for themselves. I have struggled with my weight for over 15 years. I received a call from Frank over a year ago and he wanted me to come down to the gym he was working at and get a goal assessment. I had been a member at the gym for 8 months and was not using it. He knew exactly what my struggles were with taking time away from my family. He said that I need to make time for myself and get healthy. He said he could help me achieve my goal of losing 50 pounds in 6 months. I was skeptical and thought he was a little crazy. But I was ready for a change. My siblings and I are all in danger of having a heart attack at a young age if we don’t get healthy. It is hereditary, but also controllable with medication. Frank set up a plan for 2 sessions of personal training a week plus 3-4 days of cardio. He also started me on an eating plan with lots of options and weighed me once a week. The first week I lost 6 lbs. Every week thereafter I lost 2 to 4 lbs. As long as I followed “The Plan”. I found out quickly that if I didn’t follow “The Plan” I would not get results. At times I felt guilty for not being home with my family, but instead found they were very understanding and encouraging. Anytime Frank thought I was having a hard time he would give me that extra push and keep me going. After 3 months I was down 30 pounds and lost 20 inches off my body and 7 percent body fat. Frank did not give up on me after that, he continued to check in with me and he asked me to join his Biggest Loser Team at the gym. In 8 weeks I lost another 14 pounds, 14 inches, and 3 percent body fat. All along the way Frank was there to keep me in line. I made my 50 pound goal a month later. I was very impressed with myself, but I knew that I still wanted to continue losing weight to reach a bigger goal. Frank told me about a boot camp he was starting and that it would take place 3 times a week. I started that, but found that I had gotten stuck in a rut for about 5 months. I maintained my 50 pound weight loss, but I still had at least 20 more pounds to lose. So Frank and I started to follow “The Plan” again. In another month I lost 10 pounds and in another 2 weeks I lost 5 more. I recently had a doctor’s appointment and after my 65 pound weight loss, I no longer need blood pressure pills and I am only taking half of my cholesterol pills. So that right there made all of the hard work worth it. I would still like to lose 15 pounds. And I know that I can accomplish this by sticking to “The Plan” and going to Frank’s awesome Boot Camp. Thank you Frank!!! I could not have done this without you. You’re Amazing. I am grateful that Frank picked my name to call a year ago.
